01Who we are
LiquorHub (“LiquorHub”, “we”, “us”) makes the LiquorHub web app, the LiquorHub Android and iPhone apps (coming soon) and this website. Our address is Transport Nagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
For the personal data described here, LiquorHub is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy is also written to meet the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
LiquorHub is business software for licensed liquor retailers. We don’t sell, advertise or deliver alcohol, and we don’t collect data about people buying it.
02What we collect
- Your account
- Your name, your mobile number (used for OTP login) and your language choice.
- Your shops
- Shop name, excise license number, RSBCL code, district, address, license type (composite, IMFL & beer, desi or beer-only) and license year.
- Your staff
- Names and mobile numbers of the staff you add, their logins, and the discount and credit limits you set for them.
- Business records
- Opening and closing stock, purchases, MRP changes, stock corrections and transfers, daily parcha, bills and discounts, udhaar (credit) accounts and payments, cash book and bank book entries, expense heads and guarantee targets.
- Payments
- The plan you bought, amount, date, the Razorpay payment ID and its status.
- Support
- Messages, call notes, screenshots and files you send us on WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Technical
- IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, sign-in times, error logs, and an audit log of who changed what in your account.
We don’t ask for Aadhaar, and the app doesn’t read your phone’s contacts, SMS inbox, photos or location. If a feature ever needs a phone permission (for example the camera, to scan a purchase invoice), the app will ask first and use it only for that feature.
03How we use it
- To run LiquorHub for you: sign you in, keep your licenses, stock and books, work out the day’s sale from your closing stock, track guarantee progress and build your reports.
- To send you messages you need: OTPs and service notices, by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
- To bill you: activate plans paid through Razorpay and keep a record of each payment.
- To help you: answer support questions and, when you ask us to, look into your account to fix a problem.
- To keep things safe: stop misuse, limit OTP attempts, keep audit logs and take backups.
- To improve LiquorHub: study usage in a form that doesn’t identify you or your shop — for example, how long a parcha takes to fill in.
- To follow the law: keep tax records and answer lawful requests from Indian authorities.
We use your data because you agreed to it when you signed up, and for the purposes the law allows, such as keeping records the law requires. Things we will not do:
- sell or rent your data to anyone;
- show you advertising, or use your data to target ads;
- share your sale, stock or purchase figures with other shops, distributors, brands or wholesalers.
04Who we share it with
- Service providers who work for us, under contract and only for our purposes: cloud hosting and backups, the SMS/OTP gateway, Razorpay for payments, and email and WhatsApp Business for support and reminders.
- People you give access to: your staff see what their role and your limits allow.
- Authorities, when Indian law requires it — for example a court order or a lawful request from a government agency. Where the law allows, we’ll tell you first.
- A new owner of LiquorHub, if the business is sold or merged. Your data stays protected by this policy, and we’ll tell you before it moves.
05Payments
Plans are paid through Razorpay by UPI, card or netbanking. You type your payment details into Razorpay’s secure checkout, not into LiquorHub, so we never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password.
Razorpay tells us the payment ID, amount, status and method (for example “UPI”), so we can switch on your plan and record the payment. Razorpay’s own privacy policy covers what you give them.
06Where it’s kept and how
Your data is stored with our cloud hosting provider in [hosting region, e.g. India]. We protect it with:
- encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encrypted backups;
- OTP sign-in with attempt limits, and role-based access so staff only reach what you allow;
- your 6-digit owner code, which changes every 60 seconds, for sensitive staff actions;
- an audit log of stock and money changes;
- access for our own team only when needed for support or maintenance.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and report it to the Data Protection Board of India and CERT-In as the law requires.
07How long we keep it
- While your account is open, we keep your data so the app keeps working.
- When a plan ends, that license turns read-only. We don’t delete its records because the plan lapsed: you can still sign in, see and download everything, and carry on when you renew.
- If you ask us to close your account, we delete your account and business records within 30 days, and they drop out of our backups within a further 90 days. Download your reports first — deleted data can’t be brought back.
- Records the law makes us keep — payments, invoices and tax records — are kept for as long as tax law requires. Security logs are kept for at least 180 days, as CERT-In directions require.
- Long-unused accounts: if an account has had no sign-in and no active plan for 3 years, we may delete it — but only after reminding you on your registered mobile number at least 30 days before.
08Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can:
- see a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we’ve shared it with;
- correct or update it — most things you can edit yourself in the app;
- have it deleted, apart from records the law makes us keep;
- withdraw your consent — we’ll then stop using your data, which means closing your account (this doesn’t undo what was lawfully done before);
- nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to;
- complain to our Grievance Officer, and if you’re not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.
Every report in LiquorHub downloads for Excel (and as PDF where available), so you can take a copy of your records at any time — even after a plan ends. To use any of these rights, message us from your registered mobile number or write to the Grievance Officer below. We may need to confirm it’s really you.
09Staff and customer details you add
When you add staff, udhaar customers or retailers, you decide what to record and why. For those details you are responsible for having a lawful reason to keep them and for letting those people know. We process them only to run LiquorHub for you, and we don’t contact them for our own purposes (apart from the OTP your staff need to sign in).
If one of them asks us about their data, we’ll point them to you and help you respond.
10This website and cookies
- This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. It remembers your language choice (English or हिंदी) in your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- The contact form doesn’t send anything to us by itself. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message filled in; what you then send reaches us and is handled under this policy, and by WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider under theirs.
- The web app uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in. These are essential — the app can’t work without them.
11Children
LiquorHub is meant for licensed retailers and their adult staff. We don’t knowingly collect data about anyone under 18. If you think a child’s data has reached us, tell us and we’ll delete it.
12Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the app or by SMS or WhatsApp before it takes effect.
